Atlanta rapper T.I. appeared in Henry County court on Thursday and pleaded no contest to a swearing charge and paid a $300 fine related to an incident outside his home in May. All other charges have been dropped.
T.I., who’s real name is Clifford Harris, Jr., pleaded no contest to "get this matter over with" but believed all charges would have been dropped if the case went to court, his attorney told 11Alive.
Court documents state that Harris got into a dispute with a security guard at the entrance to the Eagles Landing Country Club on May 16.

Harris told officers he pulled up to the gate and found the security guard sleeping. The guard told police Harris and a friend yelled at him when he refused to let them in the gate, stating that he didn’t know who he was, court documents stated.
Harris was eventually allowed through the gate but he returned to the guard shack later and was accused of threatening him, according to documents. When police arrived, they smelled alcohol on Harris’ breath.
He was arrested and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
