Noose and chair found near skeletal remains in Conyers; sheriff's office seeks information

Public help is needed identifying skeletal remains found nearly 14 years ago in Conyers, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office. 

Authorities said the remains belong to a male estimated to be between 15 and 27 years old and around 5 feet 6 inches tall. When officers arrived at the scene in December 2010, they found a hose fashioned into a noose and a chair positioned nearby.

Despite years of efforts, the man's identity remains unknown. The sheriff's office is launching a renewed push for information and has set a goal of raising $7,500 to fund further investigative efforts.
