Driver shot another driver on GA-400 in road rage incident; 2 lanes closed as police investigate

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs Police say a driver shot at another drive in a road rage incident on GA-400 and officers are on scene investigating.

The incident had two northbound lanes closed just after 9 a.m. on the highway, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation 511 website.

According to Sandy Springs Police, the victim was shot in both arms and taken to Grady Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

They said the driver shot "several times." There were no other immediate details about what happened in the incident.
