NEWNAN, Ga. — A manhunt is underway in Newnan after a man allegedly stabbed two people and ran away early Friday morning.
According to the Coweta County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Lucious Johnson Road around 3:30 a.m. after emergency dispatch received a call that a man, identified as Felix Holloway, had stabbed a man and woman and left the scene.
Both victims were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
There is a heavy law enforcement presence in the area as deputies search for Holloway. Both K-9 units and drones were also dispatched to the area to assist in the search.
Authorities say the suspect has a lot of family in the area and may be hiding out in a family member's home.
It's unknown if there was a motive for the stabbing at this time.
