ATLANTA – A second victim has died after a Monday night shooting outside an Atlanta gas station.
A man who was found shot in the head at the Quick Mart in the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive was taken to the hospital in critical condition but Atlanta police have since confirmed that the victim is dead.
Police Captain LeAnne Browning said the preliminary investigation showed the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men. After shots were fired between to the two, one escaped the scene and later crashed on the ramp to I-285 nearby.
Police said the driver crashed into an SUV traveling on the ramp and died from injuries sustained in the shooting. The driver of the SUV did not complain of any injuries from the crash.

“It sounded like loud firecrackers in my ear,” she said.
The witness said everything happened within two minutes.
“I’ve never seen that much blood in my life,” she said.
Police said they do not have any suspects at the moment as they continue to investigate. However, they do have one witness, in particular, they are hoping to find.
They believe Lyndon Akhil Smith, who goes by “Sas” on the VH1 show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, witnessed a shooting that happened on the night of Aug. 27.
investigators believe there were several people in the parking lot of the gas station when the shooting happened. They think Smith may have witnessed the shooting and that he may have information related to the case.
