DeKalb Police arrest accused ‘serial rapist’ who targeted victims through personal ads

The suspect is accused of luring people to a location in the area of Dogwood Pass and Turner Hill Road.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Police Department said it has identified and arrested a “serial rapist” who used personal ads to target victims.

The suspect is accused of luring people to a location in the area of Dogwood Pass and Turner Hill Road. Police said he would then pull out a gun and sexually assault the victim.

The suspect was taken into custody on July 17.

Officers believe there may be other victims and crimes that were not reported. They are asking anyone with information regarding sexual assaults in and around this area to please contact the Special Victims Unit at 770-724-7710.

Police also advised residents to use caution when responding to personal ads.
