DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb Police are investigating after a double shooting at a Decatur apartment complex Thursday night.
It happened around 10:37 p.m. at the Aspen Woods Apartments on Flat Shoals Road. When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman who was shot.
They were both taken to nearby hospitals and are expected to survive, according to police.
Police said in their preliminary investigation that someone shot at their apartment from outside, striking them.
No other details were released as detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
