DULUTH, Ga. — A man is now dead, and another is at the hospital after an altercation led to a shooting at a Duluth apartment complex on Thursday night, according to Gwinnett County Police.
The deadly incident happened at 2423 Pleasant Lake Village Lane, which appears to be the address for The Paramount Apartment Homes, just around 7:50 p.m.
When police arrived on the scene, they found two men shot. Both men were taken to the hospital, where Faisal Nortey, 29, died.
Authorities added the other man was in "critical but stable condition." Police believe that an altercation between the two men led to the deadly incident.
Law enforcement also believes the two men shot each other. However, it is unclear who shot who first. Police do not believe anyone else is involved.
