2 taken to hospital after shooting near Church's Chicken in DeKalb County, police say

DECATUR, Ga. — Two people were sent to the hospital after a shooting near a fast-food restaurant in DeKalb County on Thursday afternoon.

Police said they responded to 2473 Wesley Chapel Road in Decatur, which is the address of Church's Chicken. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals who had been shot. 

The victims were taken to an area hospital, but their conditions are unknown. 

11Alive Syktracker flew over the scene around 3 p.m. and spotted a car with multiple bullet holes being loaded onto a flatbed tow truck.

As police investigated, crime scene tape also blocked one southbound lane of Wesley Chapel Road and the turning lane in front of the restaurant.

Police have not yet said what led up to the shooting or if there are any possible suspects.
