ATLANTA — A man is dead following an early morning shooting near a Decatur church on Sunday, according to DeKalb County Police.
Right now, very little information has been provided by officers.
However, we do know the incident unfolded on South Rainbow Drive just before 6 a.m., right near the Spirit of Glory Worship Center.
One churchgoer that we spoke to said those in the area are concerned, adding, "Knowing that something like that happens just across the street from the church is crazy. It should be secure; it should be safe for us to go out to our vehicles."
The church has told us they are beefing up security in the area as a result of the shooting.
At this time, there is no word on if there are any suspects.
