ATLANTA — A person is dead after a shooting near an Atlanta apartment complex Friday evening, according to the police department.
Authorities are responding to the ibex at Uptown Apartments at 2450 Camellia Ln, where officers appear to be investigating in the area of the parking deck. The location is down the street from the Lindbergh Center MARTA transit station.
11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene shortly after 5 p.m., where crime scene tape was seen blocking off several areas of the parking lot.
APD said its homicide unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
