Police have secured arrest warrants in connection to a deadly shooting at an Atlanta apartment complex that happened in late December.
Atlanta Police Department said Saturday that Denisha Rosser is being extradited from South Carolina, where she's in custody, to Georgia, facing murder charges in the case.
The deadly shooting that killed 27-year-old John Goodwin happened on Dec. 30, police said. Officers responded around 10 p.m. to 4005 Campbellton Road SW, the location of Southwood Vista Apartments, in response to a person shot.
The apartment complex is in the Ben Hill Terrace neighborhood.
APD said they found Goodwin with a gunshot wound, and despite medical assistance on the scene, he was pronounced dead at the complex.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
