STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man accused of shooting and killing a 53-year-old man has been arrested, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies identified the suspect as Avery Jerell Foster.
The deadly shooting happened on Dec. 16 at a townhome complex in Stone Mountain.
DeKalb County deputies said they responded to 5629 Wells Circle in Stone Mountain just after 10 p.m. They said they found Andre King suffering from several gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
EMS rushed him to a local hospital, where he later died.
The suspect from Stone Mountain has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault, according to deputies.
