ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are currently investigating a shooting that happened on Decatur Street just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
The violence left a 32-year-old man in critical condition at Grady Hospital.
Officers said that the victim and another man were shooting at each other in the location.
While investigators are still working to identify and locate that second man, they have announced charges are being filed against the victim.
That's because police say he was in possession of drugs and a stolen firearm.
He is being charged with "reckless conduct, possession of controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and theft by receiving a stolen firearm."
