DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Police are searching for a suspect or suspects who shot into the home of the county's solicitor-general.
According to the department, officers responded to the home of Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling around 10 p.m. on April 11.
While shots were fired into the home while Coleman-Stribling and her family were there, police said no one was hurt.
In a statement, police said they are working "diligently" with other local, state and federal agents to identify the person or persons responsible and arrest them.
In a statement, the solicitor general requested privacy for her family "as they allow the DeKalb County Police Department to investigate the unsettling events."

No other information, including a possible description of the suspect, was available.
The DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office, led by Coleman-Stribling, prosecutes more than 13,000 misdemeanor crimes in DeKalb County each year. Those cases include domestic violence, elder abuse, cruelty to children, vehicular homicide, drunk driving, harassment and stalking, trespassing and animal cruelty.
