SMYRNA, Ga. — A 29-year-old man was arrested last Tuesday in Cobb County and is facing multiple charges related to child sexual abuse, according to officials.
Jarrod Shauntes Brooks, of Smyrna, is accused of sexually abusing a child under the age of 16.
He is being charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of first degree child cruelty and aggravated sodomy.
The child was allegedly abused from February 1 to April 25 of this year.
Brooks is currently being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
