ATLANTA — Fayetteville Police are looking for help in catching a woman accused of a deadly hit-and-run that happened over the weekend.

On Saturday, just before 10:30 p.m., officers were sent to a hit-and-run at E. Stonewall Avenue and Lee Street.

They said the suspect - 26-year-old Danielle Loyd - and a man got into an argument before Loyd hit him with her vehicle and fled the scene.

Officers add that both the victim and the suspect knew each other.

The man who was hit has yet to be identified. Officers said he was transported to a hospital and later died from his injuries.

Right now, police say multiple agencies are working to try and find Loyd, who is believed to be driving a black 2024 BMW I4 with a Georgia license plate CZJ2391.
