Peeping Tom arrested Cumberland Mall after he was caught spying in restroom, police say

The man allegedly raised his cell phone above a bathroom partition to capture the person using the bathroom next to him.

Danell Turner has been charged with felony peeping tom charges after he allegedly used his cell phone to record a person in the bathroom stall next to him.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — An Atlanta man is facing felony charges after allegedly spying on someone in the stall next to him in a bathroom at the Cumberland Mall in Cobb County.

Police said 39-year-old Danell Javon Turner stood inside a bathroom stall and raised his cell phone over the partition of the stall next to him to capture video or still images of the victim, according to the warrant from Cobb County. The incident happened May 22, according to police.

Turner was also charged with driving his Mercedes Benz with a suspended registration, warrants show. He was booked in Cobb County Jail and given a $5,000 bond. Turner was also ordered not to return to the Cumberland Mall.
