DACULA, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police are providing further clarification to a scene they were investigating in the parking lot of an apartment community in Dacula.

Officers originally were called to the complex over what was described as a "suspicious death."

The complex, situated on Peachtree Road, is believed to be a community for those ages 55 and older.

Officers add that a man was found dead in the parking lot by someone passing by.

However, at this time, police do not believe the death to be related to a crime. Instead, they believe a man went outside in the middle of the night in his wheelchair, fell out and eventually died on the scene.

Police also pointed out that temperatures were below-freezing this morning.
