Four found dead in Coweta County home in suspected murder-suicide, sheriff's office says

It all started around 1 a.m. when police said several calls came in from residents of Crabapple Court.

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Four people are dead, according to Coweta County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, in what deputies are calling a murder-suicide.

It all started around 1 a.m. when police said several calls came in from residents of Crabapple Court.

“It was about 12:30 last night and it had just started raining and my mom said, ‘Did you hear that? It sounded like thunder,’" Brandi Wright, a neighbor, said. "I told her 'I said I don’t think that was thunder it sounded just like a gunshot.'”

When Coweta County Sherriff's Office deputies arrived, they said two bodies were found in the driveway, and another body was in the doorway of the home. Deputies said a man ran inside the house, and they reported hearing a gunshot.

That's when deputies called for backup from the Coweta County SWAT to assist. Deputies said they were able to enter the home and found a fourth person dead inside.

“I live right around the corner," Brandi Wright, a neighbor, said. "It's just crazy. You can’t even stay safe in your own home anymore."

On Monday, July 1, the Coweta County coroner released the identities of the shooter and victim. Deputies identified the shooter as Brandon D. Suckow, 32. The victims of the shooting were Joshua Wimmer, Parker Anderson, 31, and Tina Sasser, 56.

Authorities added no charges are expected to stem from the incident. Coweta Sherriff said they would provide more information as the investigation continues.
