STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — The Stockbridge Police Department is investigating a triple shooting on Wednesday night.
Police said that three people were shot on North Henry Boulevard. One victim was found inside the Popeyes in the area but was not believed to have been shot in the location. Police believe the victim had just shown up at the restaurant. The other two victims were found in the car at a nearby shopping center.
Two were shot in the leg, and one was shot in the chest, according to police. They were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive.
It's currently unknown what led up to the shooting, but police suspect the shootings to be connected and that three guns were found in the area.
