ATLANTA — Update: Atlanta Police issued a correction on Tuesday, saying the victim who was critically hurt did not die but remains in the hospital. This story has been updated to reflect that change.
Three people were shot in Atlanta's Briar Glen neighborhood Monday, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Authorities said the shooting happened near the 2000 block of Briar Ridge Way SW.
Details are limited at this time. Atlanta Police said one person was critically hurt and has been hospitalized, and the two other victims are alert, conscious and breathing.
