Tucker man charged with shoplifting more than $10,000 worth of goods from Home Depot

Police said he shoplifted from the same Home Depot store at least 16 times.

Rahheem Peake, 36, has been charged with 11 counts of theft by shoplifting. Police said he took more than $10,000 worth of tools and supplies from a Home Depot store between Nov. 2018 and Mar. 2019.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett Police have arrested a 36-year-old Tucker man they said shoplifted more than $10,000 worth of tools and supplies from a Home Depot store on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Rahheem Peake has been charged with 11 counts of theft by shoplifting in connection with the thefts. Eight of the counts are felony counts, the remaining three are misdemeanor counts.

According to police, the thefts took place over the course of at least 16 separate shoplifting incidents between November 2018 and March 2019.

Investigators said that each time he left the store, Peake would leave in a white 2007 Cadillac Escalade.

Peake is presently being held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
