According to the police department, detectives now believe the shooting that killed 20-year-old Edward Thompson stemmed from a fight between him and the two other men.

The police department said the initial shooting happened at a business in the 4800 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Thompson was found shot and taken to the Northside Hospital off Johnson Ferry Road by friends, where police said he later died.
