ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left two people injured on Dorsey Street.
Officers said they received word of the incident just after 11:00 p.m.
Once on the scene, they said they found a 40-year-old woman with a gunshot wound and a 67-year-old man who had received "a possible graze injury."
According to a release from authorities, the female victim was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
At this time, officers believe the victims were simply standing in front of a house on the street when an unknown suspect started firing shots in their direction from a vehicle.
Atlanta Police have not provided any word on a suspect.
