DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Two teenagers are recovering after being shot at a party in DeKalb County overnight, police said.

According to the DeKalb County Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of Aberdeen Drive in reference to a person shot shortly after 12:40 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the leg. She was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after, police were notified of a 15-year-old boy who arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg. He was confirmed to have left the same location.

Preliminary information indicates there was a party with numerous people present when a dispute happened. This led to shots fired by several subjects -- resulting in the injuries, police said.

This is an active investigation.
