ATLANTA — A woman has been left critically injured after being shot early Wednesday morning in southwest Atlanta, police say.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, around 9:19 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Cooper Street SW and located a woman who had been shot.
Authorities said the victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
APD investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. There is no word on a suspect at this time.
