EAST POINT, Ga. — A woman has died following a shooting in East Point on Saturday, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Calls came in on Saturday night stating that gunshots were heard near Cedar Avenue and Harlan Drive. When officers with the East Point Police Department arrived, they were told that two people had been shot.
Officers were told that the victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. The medical examiner's office sent out an update Tuesday saying that one of the victims, 24-year-old Andrea Priester, had died.
The police department has not released any information on what led up to the shooting and has not said if anyone was arrested in the case.
