RIVERDALE, Ga. — The Riverdale Police Department is asking for the public's assistance after a woman allegedly posed as a Waffle House worker and then stole money from the business.
The theft happened on Dec. 12 at a Waffle House location in the 6500 block of Highway 85.
Police said the woman pretended to work at the restaurant for two hours before being captured on surveillance camera opening the register and then stealing an undetermined amount of cash.
Authorities released a photo of the woman, who is pictured wearing a hat donning the Waffle House logo.
Riverdale Police are looking to identify the woman and urged anyone with information on her identity to contact Det. Mendoza at 770-996-3382.
