Video shows the nearly-violent confrontation.
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a woman pointed a gun at a cashier in a fast-food drive-through on Saturday. Now, they've released video of that traumatic crime.
The video shows the woman pull up in a black Nissan Altima around 11:15 p.m. at the Wendy's at 1760 Jonesboro Road. The driver then opens the door and lunges at the window before pulling back, motioning to the cashier with a gun in-hand and eventually driving away.
Police believe the woman became upset at some point while waiting for her food which led to this dangerous confrontation. She had allegedly ordered some chili and kid's meals.
A surveillance camera above the drive-through captured the entire confrontation. So, Henry County police are hoping that putting the video out to the public will lead to this dangerously rude customer.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the people inside it is asked to call Lt. Waddell at 770-288-8284 or call the non-emergency line at 770-957-9121. Authorities added that Lt. Waddell can be reached at his e-mail at hwaddell@co.henry.ga.us.
