ATLANTA — A woman is in the hospital after being shot and injured at a Burger King on Peyton Road.
11Alive crews headed to the scene Saturday night, where several police cars were spotted surrounding the restaurant in West Atlanta.
Around 7:53 p.m., police said they responded to a shooting involving two women.
Right now, officers believe the woman who was shot got into an argument with another that escalated into gunfire.
11Alive is continuing to make calls to learn how she is doing Sunday morning.
There is no word yet on a suspect.
