DALLAS, Georgia — A woman died after being found stabbed in what police said was a domestic dispute on Nov. 20.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were dispatched regarding a possible suicide at a home on Westwood Drive around 10:16 p.m. When police arrived, a 36-year-old woman, later identified as Jennifer Hester, was found stabbed multiple times, lying on the floor.
Officers tried to render aid, but once paramedics arrived, the woman was pronounced dead.
Following an investigation, detectives said a 37-year-old was arrested on Nov. 21 regarding the incident. Police said Brandon Howard was taken into custody by the Loudon County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee and charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.
The police department has not provided any other information about what led up to the crime.
