DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- DeKalb police are investigating two shootings they believe are connected.
Officials said a repo man was shot early Tuesday morning as he attempted to repossess a car at a Shell Gas Station off Rockbridge Rd in Stone Mountain. Police said the man was actually training a co-worker who was on his first day at the job. That's when officials said the owner of the vehicle, 30-year-old Joshua Hardeman, tried to stop the repossession from happening and shot the trainer.
Police said the suspect also shot himself in the foot.
Both men are in stable condition, according to officials. The suspect is in custody and will be taken to jail once he is released from the hospital.
