ATLANTA — Former President Donald Trump commented on the ongoing Young Thug and YSL RICO trial while appearing as a guest on gamer Adin Ross' live stream on Monday.

Both Trump and Young Thug, whose legal name is Jeffery Williams, are part of separate RICO cases in Georgia being prosecuted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

While briefly speaking about Willis and her involvement in Trump's case, Ross segued into Young Thug's court battle and requested that he be treated fairly if Trump won the upcoming election.

Trump expressed sympathy for Young Thug, suggesting the rapper was being unfairly targeted.

"So, I've heard about him, and I hear he's being treated very unfairly by [Fani Willis]," Trump said. "I've heard it from other people where they say he’s being treated very unfairly. He's got to be treated fairly."

Trump's comments come amid ongoing legal challenges of his own, including investigations into his business practices and actions during his presidency.

Willis has not yet responded to Trump's remarks.
