ATLANTA – With the announced closure of ITT Technical Institute, many students are left wondering what they need to do in order to move forward with items like grades, credits, and loans.
Here’s a quick look at some of the most frequently asked questions that have surfaced since the announcement Tuesday afternoon.
How will students find out their grades?
Students can access their academic records via this link. (https://studentportal.itt-tech.edu/) Students will need their email and passwords to log in. All grades for the quarter that began June 2016 are expected to be updated by Friday, September 9.
How can students obtain transcripts?
Transcripts are available through the student portal at this link. (https://studentportal.itt-tech.edu/) Students will need their email and passwords to log in. Graduates may be able to request an official transcript from the alumni website via this link (http://alumni.itt-tech.edu/update/?type=transcript)
Will student credits transfer to other institutions?
The final decision regarding transfer credits is always up to the institution receiving the incoming student. A list of schools that ITT Technical Institutes has entered into articulation agreements with can be found at https://www.itt-tech.edu/articulation/.

When is the last day the campus will be open?
The campus itself will close immediately following the end of the June quarter. The school will continue to provide resources to help students obtain transcripts and other records.
Once the Student Portal closes, how will students obtain copies of their records?

Will student loans for ITT Tech students have to be repaid?
