HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -- Students at a Henry County elementary school are getting prepared for being a part of a global workforce by learning Chinese.

Parents can chose to enroll their kindergarten children in a program to learn Mandarin. They spend half the day immersed in Mandarin; the other half in English.

"They're learning the math and science portion in Chinese and the read, language arts, social studies in English," said Dutchtown Principal Dr. Winnie Johnson.

It's one of Georgia's 14 Dual immersion programs and they're growing because of the growing number of companies in the Atlanta area with Chinese ties.

They're also getting prepared for jobs for jobs that may not even exist yet.
