HALL COUNTY, Ga. — West Hall High School sent a note home to parents regarding a threat made towards the school Tuesday evening.
The school said they discovered a "threat of a general nature" on a bathroom wall. School officials said they've turned the matter over to the local Sheriff's office.
According to Dr. Brad Brown with Hall County Schools, the school is also offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the threat. Brown said the reward is district policy.
The threat didn't affect Tuesday's or Wednesday's school schedule, however the school did put some extra precautions in place.
"As always, the Hall County School District takes these matters very seriously," the school wrote.
