ATLANTA — An Atlanta woman appeared on NBC's game show "Wheel of Fortune" Thursday evening.
Emily Reynolds spun the wheel on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23, during the show's Shopping Spree Week, where contestants compete to win shopping sprees, trips of a lifetime, new cars and cash prizes.
Reynolds told "Wheel of Fortune" she considers herself an "anti-hoarder."
"Emily purges everything she can get her hands on to donate, and her two children joke if they 'don’t glue something down, she’s going to throw it out,'" a release from the show stated.
Reynolds said she grew up watching the show with her grandmother and has even made it a part of her kids' bedtime routine each weeknight.
"With any winnings, Emily would like to get her kids some Lego sets and create the ultimate 'hangout spot' for her kids in their basement,'" according to the release.
In an update, Reynolds won a grand total of $27,730, including cash and prizes. Plus, a trip to Antigua!
