ATLANTA — "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss revealed at the Grammys Sunday night that she will not be returning for the show's upcoming 16th season.
“I’m going to take a break. I’m going to take a moment,” told Variety on the red carpet at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Burruss' announcement marks the end of her 14-season run on the reality show. Burruss joined the Real Housewives cast in 2009, during the show's second season. Throughout her time on the series, Burruss met her husband, Todd Tucker, and welcomed two children: Ace Wells, 7, and daughter Blaze, 3, according to a report from People Magazine.
"I've got some nice big projects coming soon, so I'm super excited about those things," she added.
Bravo "Watch What Happens Live" host and executive producer Andy Cohen took to social media Monday to say Burress is "One of the greats! A superstar! What a run!"
