ATLANTA — Two talented locals competed in the knockout rounds Monday night on NBC's "The Voice" Season 24-- and the competition certainly heated up.
Atlanta native Crystal Nicole and Brailey Lenderman, of Roswell, sang their hearts out in their respective battle rounds.
If you missed their performances, you can watch a recap of their performances in the social media posts below.
On Team Reba, Nicole took on Cailtyn Quisenberry in their rendition of “The Song Remembers When” by Trisha Yearwood.
This battle was a tough decision for the judges -- with Niall Horan even describing it as a "50-50 battle." In the end, Quisenberry, of Denver, came out on top.
According to Nicole's bio on "The Voice," the Atlanta native has already made her mark on the music industry-- she was the mastermind behind Rihanna's song "Only Girl (In the World)" and has also written for Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, among many others.
On Team Niall Horan, Lenderman competed against Huntley, of Spring Hill, Florida. Their duo was comprised of a Hootie & The Blowfish cover of "Hold My Hand."
All of the judges complimented both contestants on their musical styles for the song. However, in the end, Huntley won the battle round-- knocking Lenderman out of the competition.
The Roswell native took to social media to express her gratitude for her time on the reality show.
"I’m thankful for it all," Huntley wrote.
Take a moment to congratulate these two locals for their time on the show! You can still catch the show "The Voice" on 11Alive on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
