Megan Thee Stallion concerts in Atlanta rescheduled | Here are the new dates

Despite the delays and frustration among many concertgoers, the shows will still go on.

ATLANTA — After the first two Atlanta tour dates for Megan Thee Stallion were canceled in Atlanta due to ongoing issues over the city's major water main breaks, both dates have been rescheduled.

Friday's concert date was rescheduled yesterday to Sunday night and her canceled Saturday night performance was rescheduled to Monday night, State Farm Arena tweeted on X.

Both concert dates are expected to go on as normal after one of the two water main breaks, this one in Downtown Atlanta, was repaired late on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson with State Farm Arena released a statement on Saturday evening saying that after speaking with Mayor Andre Dickens' office, the City of Atlanta "is unable to accommodate the Megan Thee Stallion performance..."

In a statement on the platform X on Friday night, the rapper wrote that she was "extremely disappointed" to have to reschedule because of a "surprise" she had in store.

"But we will follow the Mayor’s protocol," she wrote, adding she was "praying for the people who lost access to water due to this situation."

So, despite the delays and frustration among many concertgoers, the shows will still go on.
