ATLANTA — Usher was due to play three concerts in Atlanta this week at State Farm Arena, but he announced on his Instagram that the first of those three -- tonight's, August 14 -- has been postponed.

Here's what we know about the latest developments with Usher's scheduled performances in Atlanta:

Usher concert in Atlanta tonight postponed | What we know

  • He indicated he's not 100% physically up for performing tonight: "For my 30-plus year career, 100% of my blood, sweat and tears has gone into putting on the best performance and creating am emorable experience for my fans," his Instagram post said. "I have every intention of doing that for this tour as well which is why I have to postpone tonight's show and reschedule it for a later date to give my body a second to rest and heal."
  • Usher promised tonight's concert would be rescheduled: He said it would be at a "later date" where fans will "be getting 100% of me."
  • There are still two more shows in Atlanta this week: There was no indication either of those would be rescheduled. They are set for Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17.
  • There are three other, later stops back in Atlanta on Usher's tour: Those are on Thursday October 17, Friday October 18 and Sunday October 20.
  • The rescheduled date for the August 14 show will be revealed "soon" he said: "My team will be sharing news of the rescheduled date soon. I can't wait to celebrate this legacy with you."

What can you bring to State Farm Arena?

Bag Policy 

  • Must be 14" x 14" x 6" or smaller
  • All bags are subject to screening
  • State Farm Arena does not enforce a clear bag policy

Approved Bags:

  • Single-compartment drawstring bags, purses, or fashion backpacks that are smaller than 14" x 14" x 6".
  • Medical bags and diaper bags accompanying a child are exempt from the size requirement policy but are subject to search. Parents may bring in plastic bottles of formula or milk inside the arena. 
  • Strollers are welcome inside the arena but must be checked inside Gate 1 at the Guest Service Center.

Cash Policy 

State Farm Arena is a cashless venue. Card payment is required at all ticket, food and beverage, and retail locations. No cash payments will be accepted.
