Family concerned after Gainesville woman goes missing

Police said she "may have an altered mental state and it is unlike her to leave for a long period of time."

GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Police in Gainesville, Georgia are asking for help to find a 46-year-old woman who was last seen two weeks ago. 

According to the Gainesville Police Department, Shelagh Inglis was last seen on May 28 at her home off of Island Drive. She left in a gray 2006 Honda CRV with Georgia tag "PNZ 8823".

Police said she "may have an altered mental state and it is unlike her to leave for a long period of time."

Inglis has blonde/brown hair with hazel eyes. She is 5'4" and weighs about 136 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call investigators at 770-535-5276.
