(WECT) If you see members of the Heyer family walking through their hometown of Wilmington, North Carolin , you may think they are aging early, but the white streaks in their hair have nothing to do with age. They were all born with it.
"When I had Jonathan I was like, 'Oh my God! I have one that has it,'" said Ronda King-McCullough, also born with the white streak. "Then when Xan came I was really blown away like, 'Oh my God! This is really going on, the saga continues.'"
King-McCullough's family history with the birthmark goes as far back as the 1800s. Nine generations later, it's no longer surprising to see that white streak in the family is now a tradition.
