BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. -- A 16-year-old was killed and two other teenagers were injured after a car struck a house in Bartow County Friday.
The accident happened on Old Grassdale Road.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the driver of the car, a 16-year-old male, was driving southbound when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway. The vehicle struck a house, killing the front seat passenger, who has been identified as 16-year-old Christian Austin.
The driver and the 15-year-old back seat passenger were transported to Cartersville Medical Center.
The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is conducting a follow-up investigation on the crash and charges are pending.
