Get help during the COVID-19 pandemic

Help for those in need during the coronavirus outbreak.

ATLANTA — As Georgia faces serious challenges during the coronavirus pandemic, non-profit organizations are stepping up to provide support.

As our community reacts to the negative ripple effects, there are organizations across the region that are actively working to find solutions to make sure the needs of the community are met. Here are a few of them:

Atlanta Community Food Bank has a hotline for those who need access to food. Simply text “FINDFOOD” or “COMIDA” to 1-888-976-2232

United Way 211 of Greater Atlanta  http://211online.unitedwayatlanta.org/ To locate community resources during the Coronavirus crisis, click on the "Disaster" category, then on the "Coronavirus" subcategory. Select the need you are searching for.

Action Ministries https://actionministries.net/help/ To get help with meals and groceries.

Salvation Army https://salvationarmyatlanta.org/locations/ Contact your local Salvation Army location for direction on emergency services.
