Grady to close clinics, reschedule elective procedures amid Hurricane Helene

Grady Memorial Hospital will remain open and operational, a spokesperson said.

ATLANTA — Ahead of the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Helene in metro Atlanta, Grady Hospital is adjusting its operational schedule.

The hospital announced it will close all of its clinics and neighborhood health centers at noon on Thursday, Sept. 26, and remain closed through Friday.

Additionally, all elective and non-urgent procedures scheduled for Friday will be rescheduled for a later date.

Despite the closures, Grady Memorial Hospital will remain open "regardless of severe weather conditions."

"Grady’s leadership and emergency management team will closely monitor the latest weather development," the hospital said in a statement.
