COWETA COUNTY, Ga. (WXIA) -- Three people were killed Friday evening in a wreck between a tractor-trailer and an SUV on Interstate 85 near the Collinsworth Road exit. Four others were hurt in the crash.

The Coweta County Coroner's office confirmed late Friday night that two adult women and a child perished in the wreck near Exit 56 in the northbound lanes of I-85. They were identified Saturday by the Coweta County Coroner.

The coroner says Kayla Wilson, 33, and her daughter Denyla Viggers, 6, both died in the crash. Nikia Wilson, 33, was also in the car and was killed as a result of her injured. All three were from Muscogee County.

According to Georgia State Patrol, a early-2000s Ford Explorer was traveling in the inside lanes of I-85 when it lost control suddenly and struck the concrete median wall. They said the SUV rolled over several times in the wreck, ejecting three people from the car. Those three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other victims -- from age 4 to 15 -- were transported to Egleston Hospital in Atlanta.

GSP says it's specialize collision reconstruction team is investigating the fatal wreck.
