FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. – Two people were struck by a vehicle outside of the Fayette County Department of Driver Services on Tuesday.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, an elderly couple was pulling into a handicapped spot at the DDS when the driver accidentally accelerated instead of braking.
Two people were injured after being struck by the vehicle in a space outside the people where people waited to take tests. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger were also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Everyone is expected to be OK.
There is no word yet if any charges will be filed.
