Fourth arrest made in Walton County double murder

Authorities found one man dead and another man seriously wounded. That man was taken to an Atlanta hospital and later died.

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities have arrested the fourth man suspected in the shooting of two people at a Walton County home Thursday afternoon.

According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a home on East Hightower Trial in Social Circle just after 5:30 p.m.

Deputies from the Walton County Sheriff's Office and officers from the Social Circle Police Department entered the home and found Dontravious Cullin-Stanley, 18, dead from a gunshot wound. Antavious Smith, 19, was also injured. He was transported to Atlanta Medical Center and later died.

Investigators determined that the shooting stemmed from a dispute and was not a home invasion. Drugs and stolen guns were also recovered at the scene, according to police.

Police later arrested three men and charged them with two counts of felony murder. Those arrested are: 20-year-old Dikembe Thomas; 21-year-old Quintadric "Todd" Gunn; and 20-year-old Daquqan Gunn.

In an exclusive interview with 11Alive, Antoinette Thomas said her son Dikembe was visiting two friends Thursday night when the shootout took place.

"He's never been in any kind of trouble," Thomas said. "It's his first time being locked up."

Police had been looking for 19-year-old Jotavious "Lucky" Fredrick Gunn, who was also facing murder and aggravated assault charges. He was arrested Sunday after turning himself over to authorities at the Newton County Jail.

A neighbor in a nearby mobile home community says the fourth suspect, Jotavious, ran into the neighborhood and was just feet from his children.

"Honestly I almost started crying because I didn't know what to expect when I got there knowing someone is out there by my house," he said. "You never think it's going to hit close to home like everyone always says, but it does"

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Walton County Sheriff's Office at 770-267-6556.
